Women's Ministry

Titus 2 Women’s Mission Statement

Titus 2 Women are Christian women whose goal is to honor God and His word. They are respectful, self-controlled, and keepers of their homes. They are pure and kind. They teach and encourage younger women to follow this course of life and learn from older women. If married, they are also called to love their husbands and children and submit to their husbands.

Bible Study/Discipleship: Bible studies are offered throughout the year
during the day and evening. A one-on-one discipleship program offers women a
chance to learn the fundamentals of the faith in an informal setting.

Programs: Several fellowship events are offered each year to encourage women
in their faith journey, to promote spiritual maturity, and to promote unity
as the body of Christ at Southside Church.

Helping Hands: Provides meals for congregational needs such as illness,
death of a family member, births, or funerals. Organizes refreshments for
pot luck dinners and congregational meetings. The card ministry sends
greetings and notes of encouragement.

Prayer Group: Holds monthly Prayer Brunch/Gatherings for women to pray for
the church, individuals, and the nation.

Church Decorations: Arranges for seasonal decorations in the worship center
and organizes Christmas poinsettia and Easter flower purchases.
